From Junk to... ART!! Old Wood Window: Vinyl, Wall Art, Graphics, Lettering, Decals, Stickers

This was a special request to give as a Christmas gift.

Scared ya, huh???
You were probably thinking who would ever give an old dirty window as a gift.  (As you can tell this isn't the exact window, but it was crunch time to get the finished project completed, so this was an after thought.)

I absolutely LOVE how it turned out.  We sanded down the window.  Painted and distressed it.  Cleaned the glass, applied the vinyl, and viola!  Love, Love, Love!  The gold vinyl complimented the antique look and the hardware perfectly.  The saying is a scripture that reads...

"Organize yourselves, prepare every needful thing, and establish a house of prayer, fasting, faith, learning, glory, order, a house of God." D&C 88:119

  1. It looks awesome!! I love the gold against that purple!! You are talented for sure! Love ya!!

  2. Should've known you would like that purple! (It was a little risky, but I LUV it!) That is a look into my craft room. I'm working on a project in there so when it's done I'll post some pictures. I think you'll like that too!! Take care! Luv ya too!

  3. Oh no its not me who likes purple... its lisa. I do think it looks really good together though... lol I would love to see more pictures!

  4. That's right you like red! I'll post them as soon as I get it finished.

  7. So adorable!!! You totally nailed the design to the frame. Nicely done!

  8. Just lovely! The vinyl looks as if it is handpainted!

Would love for you to drop by and link up to Passion for Paint this weekend.

  9. What a great window and gift! love it!

  10. Hi, I am nicole from Keepin' the Castle. I was wondering where you got your image for the tree?

  11. Thanks everyone for the comments. I love them, & I read each one of them.

Nicole I made the tree design myself. If you would like to purchase one, I'd be happy to make one for you. I would just need to know the size and color. Let me know!

  12. I love this window. Can it be kept outside? I mean will it withstand the elements?

  13. Hi Jane! Thank you for your interest in this window design! I don't see why this couldn't be displayed outside. The vinyl decal would be placed on the back of the glass so it wouldn't be in the elements if the window is hung or displayed say on the side of a house or building. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions. Thank you!!

Thanks for the love!
